I first met David when I had a home for sale that I was trying to sell on my own (FSBO), as a fixer upper. I was not having any luck and all the offers I had received were low-ball offers. I was getting a little discouraged.

 

During this time, David contacted me to see if he could help me sell my home. My first impression was that David had my best interests at heart and was honest and genuine in his comments and advice, I was advised that in order to get top dollar and the highest profit on the home I should invest a little to complete everything that needed fixed before putting it back on the market.

 

I took David's advice and made all the recommended repairs. There was a lot to do and it took me several months to complete. David stayed in touch with me and monitored my progress. When everything was completed, I met with David to get the home listed with him. With David's marketing program, I had a full price offer within 20 days.

 

Throughout the process David kept me informed, I never had to wonder what was going on. When I needed answers David was always available. If he was busy and did not answer his phone when I called, I left a message and he called me right back.

I was in the midst of claiming chapter 13 Bankruptcy due to my illness. My lawyer told me that since my house was part of that to go ahead and use my money to get caught up on other things.

 

Well, 8 days before my house was to foreclose, her office calls me and said I don't have enough income to include the house. I panicked; I called a number on a card I had received in the mail saying, "we buy houses". The gentleman introduced me to David Hitchcock. He came all the way out to my house in Bonney Lake on Friday, February 2. David said "don't worry, I can help". He listed my house on February 6th and it sold on February 8th and closed on March 6th.

 

I was happy that I didn't have a foreclosure, the mortgage company got a full payoff and the couple that bought my house love it.

Over the last ten years my husband and I have bought and sold several homes with a realtor who had been recommended to us. Although we felt some loyalty to this person, after several months of our home being on the market, we were advised to significantly reduce the price of our home if we wanted to sell it. Our feeling was that this was not the best advice and felt somewhat uncomfortable with the negativity we were getting.

 

hi the third week of January, we received a cold call from David W. Hitchcock.

The purchasing of our first home was one of the most important—if not "the" most important investments we were going to make.  Also, it was one of the most terrifying moments.  Here we were: Two individuals without a clue in the world.

               

Enter Real Estate Agent "A".  Top realtor and highly recommended.  Not too bright from the start and we dropped them immediately.

 

Enter Real Estate Agent "B".  Great company and highly recommended—everybody has a reference, huh?  They were nice and seemed really good...then came the most trying three months we have ever had to experience.  Instead of our interests at heart, they had those of keeping us at the high end of our price range, failing to follow-up with us (while we waited on the edges of our seat to see if we got a house), and showing us house after house that didn't fit our interests.  In fact, Real Estate Agent "B" often pushed for us to try for houses we just plain did not like.  We were in such a state of frustration, we were almost considered to stop looking until next year.

                       

Enter David W. Hitchcock.  Our lender gave us the reference that came with something others did not:  Truth in advertising!!  From the first telephone call to our first meeting, we knew that Dave was special.  His attention to detail was impeccable and his knowledge about the housing market was top notch!  We even joked and gave him the nickname "War-bird", because that is what he did for us—"Went to War" to find us and get us our home.  It is a true representation, as Dave's approach is that he goes out to battle for the house you want!  Within one month we went from looking, to buying, to moving in our home.  Same house market—same price range—same preferences.  The difference was having David Hitchcock.

 

The fact is that in the real estate market, you have to have somebody who is out there for you: The Buyer.  Dave is that representative.  With an extensive background in insurance, he is going to make sure that the house you choose is solid and that the contract keeps you clear of unnecessary liabilities.  With his experience in real estate, he will find the house that meets your needs and will not push you to settle for anything less. 

 

Dave will negotiate and re-negotiate and make it happen.  He walks you through the contract and always is mindful of time limits with your lender.  He saved us half the cost of home inspection and paid one thousand dollars of our closing costs!  The War-bird gave us a place to call home.  He and his wife, Marlene, also became our friends.

 

So, if you need a referral, you can get one from anybody you know.  But if you need somebody who is going to go out there and get the home you want...if you want somebody to be there in your interests...you have to call David Hitchcock.  Remember, we were down that road and disillusioned by what seemed great realtors.  We did not know David, but took a chance.  Now, we couldn't be happier.  We are asking you to go out and take a chance on a referral too.
